The Thatches, Kei Mouth

This AA Highly Recommended self-catering resort is within walking-distance from clean beaches, the beautiful estuary of the Kei River and a quaint town named after the mouth of the great river.

The Thatches consists of 11 self-catering thatched units. Each fully equipped for your self-catering get-away and each with its own gas braai or braai facility. Each unit is fully equipped with stove, fridge, cooking utensils, pots/pans, crockery, cutlery and linen.

We do not supply Towels or coffee and sugar amenities. You must bring your own.

There is also plenty of open space for the kids (of all ages) to run around.

3 Communal Braai areas around the pool with a lapa which makes for that perfect, wonderful and relaxing family occasion.

We are pet friendly. (Please arrange ahead of time with management)

All units are cleaned free of charge by The Thatches staff six days a week, with optional Sunday cleaning available upon request. Some of the units are equipped with a gas braai. All units have a colour television with DSTV (Hotel package)

Two Sleeper

The Main House

Check in and Departures

Check in time is from 14h00 onwards – or you can make arrangements with management for earlier or late arrivals.

Departures time is 10h00 as staff need time to clean the units before the next guests arrive or you can make arrangements with management.

Early departures before 08h00, please drop your keys off in the drop off box (green box) at the back gate on your right and main gate next to office.
